Mechanical Design
The goal for the Golfer Bot was to design robust mechanical systems. Before we started our design process we identified several critical requirements for the success of our robot:
All of our mechanical components were designed using Solid Works CAD, and custom laser cut at Stanford's Product Realization Laboratory.
- Robust Mechanical design that could endure long-term use without failure.
- Remove load bearing from all of our motors
- Design simple-to-assemble and accessible mechanical components
